Rosslare's AC-225-BU is a two-door, expandable, networked access control panel from the AC-225 B series, supplied in a lockable metal enclosure with power supply and battery charger for professional access control installations.
Features
- 2-door (2-reader) controller, expandable via MD expansion modules up to 4 readers and additional inputs/outputs, suitable for commercial/institutional access control
- Supplied "BU" version is the board in an enclosure with integrated power supply and space for backup battery, typically sold as a complete control panel package
- Supports up to 30,000 users (cards/PINs) and stores about 20,000 events in offline memory
- Works online and offline, with advanced logic (time zones, holidays, access groups, anti-passback, interlocks, automation "Smart Links")
- Communication: RS-485 "B" series (AC-225-BU) for connection to AxTraxNG server; a related "IP-B" model uses Ethernet instead
- Reader interfaces: Wiegand or Clock & Data, 12 VDC power to readers, LED/buzzer and tamper support
- I/O: 4 supervised inputs and 4 Form C 5 A relay outputs on-board, expandable to 8-12 inputs and 8 outputs using MD-IO84B or MD-D02B modules
- Includes charger for a 12 V, ~7 Ah sealed lead-acid backup battery, providing UPS-style operation
