IC-830 8" Premium Performance Loudspeaker
The IC-830 is a bigger version of Russound's flagship in-ceiling speaker (the IC-630) designed for intelligent highs and deep rich lows. Using advanced materials from the 1" pivoting titanium tweeter to the 8" injection-molded polypropylene cone with vapor-deposited titanium, the IC-830's performance will blow you away and will continue to impress you during years of enjoyment. It includes a +/- 3dB tweeter adjustment switch to allow you to adjust for the room's acoustic characteristics. In bright, reflective rooms with lots of hard surfaces, set the switch to -3dB to tone down the highs a bit. In a room filled with large, absorptive items like bulky furniture, thick carpet and curtains, set the switch to +3dB to compensate and reinforce the high frequencies as needed. The patented SwiftLock® by Swarm technology allows for quick and easy tool-less installation with the simple press of a button at each of the three mounting dogs.

To engage the new SwiftLock™ feature simply position speaker in the ceiling and push the blue buttons - Instant Locking
The dog will automatically rotate and then clamp down compensating for the thickness of the ceiling or wall while also locking into place for a secure and solid installation - Quick Release
If you ever need to remove the speaker, it's quick and easy, too. Simply push the SwiftLock dog in and make a half-turn with a screwdriver to lock it back into place, ready to activate again at the press of a button
