Description
DoorKing 8080-295 is a breakaway arm hardware kit used with DoorKing barrier gate operators that have an octagonal aluminum arm, including lighted octagonal arms on model 1601 parking gate operators. It replaces older breakaway kits such as 1601-285 in many applications.
The 8080-295 kit provides the mechanical "breakaway" connection between the barrier gate operator and the octagonal aluminum arm so that, if the arm is struck by a vehicle, the arm detaches at the hardware instead of transmitting full impact to the operator mechanism. This helps reduce damage to the gate operator and makes it easier and cheaper to restore operation after an impact.

- Designed for octagonal aluminum barrier arms on DoorKing 1601 parking gate operators, including standard and lighted octagonal aluminum arms
- Used where a breakaway feature is required instead of a rigid arm mount, and is the current replacement for older kit 1601-285 according to distributors
