Description
The Napco PPIR (Prima Passive Infrared Sensor Transmitter) is a wireless motion detector designed for integration with Napco Prima security systems.
Features
- Engineered to minimize false alarms by ignoring pets up to a certain weight. Pet immunity is adjustable, generally supporting pets up to 40-55 lbs, depending on configuration and documentation.
- Detects motion from humans (or human-sized objects) up to 32.8 feet (10 meters) away, making it suitable for larger rooms or open spaces
- Sensor can transmit signals to the Prima control panel up to 820 feet (about 250 meters) in open air
- Features 1-way encryption to protect transmissions from interference or hacking attempts
- Powered by a CR123A lithium battery with a lifespan of up to 5 years
- Alerts the system if someone attempts to tamper with or damage the sensor
- Can be installed using self-stick tape or optional screws
- Offers both low and high sensitivity settings for detection, and allows adjustment of pet immunity and sensitivity via internal jumpers
- Specifically designed for Napco Prima security systems (models PP1A, PP1V)
