Description
The Intrasonic RETRO-MTP is a Master Trim Frame used when upgrading outdated, in-wall home intercom systems. It acts as an aesthetic cover plate and mounting accessory that sandwiches between the wall and the new RETRO-M master unit, hiding any extra drywall cutouts left by older, larger systems.
This custom-molded plastic trim plate eliminates the need for expensive and time-consuming drywall patching or replacement of the original in-wall rough-in box. It is specifically used alongside the RETRO-MAB Master Adaptor Brackets to seamlessly retrofit the modern system into existing 3, 4, or 6-wire setups.
