Description
The EBS Universal Takeover Communicator for Alarm.com LX30 can retrofit a large list of compatible, older, "POTS" type security systems such as DSC, Honeywell, PIMA, GE, Paradox, Intelbras, Visonic, Texacom, and many others.

*The term "KeySwitch Zone" refers to the type of zone definition, which would allow a security system to be armed/disarmed through momentarily contact pulse. This is generally supported by most traditional security systems.
Panel Agnostic
Universal EBS communicators are compatible with a wide range of alarm systems and do not
require a specific brand or model of a panel.
KeySwitch Zones
Universal EBS communicators with key zone switching feature will enable arming and
disarming of the panel through the Alarm.com application.
Keybus Connection ("Smart Connector")
Certain Alarm.com control panels can be connected to the Universal EBS Communicator as a
virtual keypad for easier installation. (Future release)
Easy Installation
Universal EBS Communicators are easy to install and can be added to existing alarm systems
without the need for additional infrastructure.
Event Notification
Universal EBS Communicators can be programmed to send notifications and alerts for
specific events, such as power failures or system malfunctions. This feature can help users to

Integration with Alarm.com Video and Automation Systems that are connected to Alarm.com with Universal EBS Communicators can be integrated with Alarm.com cameras and cloud automation integrations.
