NEXT K9-85 is a Pet-immune PIR detector. Its advanced technologies and algorithms ensure that alarms are not triggered by pets that weight up to 85 lb (38 kg), allowing them to move freely anywhere in the home.
The NEXT K9-85 incorporates new patent-pending Frequency Modulation (FM) Digital Signal Processing (DSP), which eliminates the many types of interference that affect reliability of other digital detectors employing Amplitude Modulation (AM) processing. Visonic's patented True Motion Recognition (TMR™) algorithm and advanced circuitry, without the use of amplifiers, dramatically reduce false alarms and guarantee superior long-term performance.
3D cylindrical lens optics and multiple vertical curtains ensure comprehensive detection coverage with no "dead" spots. Featuring Visonic's Target Specific Imaging (TSI™) unique software algorithm, the detectors distinguish between human bodies and pets as never before.
