EVX-ZM-ASSM Zone Splitter Module

• Provides either 4 Class B (Style Y) speaker circuits or 2 Class A (Style Z) speaker circuits, selectable by a switch
• Supports 25 or 70Vrms audio circuits
• Each zone can handle up to 50W at 70Vrms and 40W at 25Vrms
• The unit supervises for open or short conditions and signals faults via LEDs and communication with the fire alarm control panel
• Multiple modules can be daisy-chained for systems requiring more circuits, with a maximum of 64 circuits on a single system
• Standby current is 0.051A; All Call current is 0.130A
• Short circuit protection and smart power detection
• Compatible with manual zone selection switches (EVX-SL8) for manual or automated zone callout
• Speaker circuits must be terminated with a 10K ohm end-of-line resistor (EOLR)
• Typically used in fire alarm and voice evacuation systems for zoning and distributing speaker power efficiently and safely
