Description
The Cornell B-4825-7 Battery Backup Kit is to be used with the Sentinel AOR System to provide the SCM-4825 with 24VDC secondary failover backup power. This ensures continuous system operation during an emergency. The B-4825-7 provides approximately three hours of backup power to the SCM-4825 unit. This kit includes (2) 12VDC, 7Ah batteries, a metal enclosure, and fuse kit.
Operation
The B-4825-7 provides short-term 24VDC battery backup
power to the SCM-4825 unit when primary 120VAC input power fails.
The SCM-4825 will instantaneously switch over to backup power to
prevent the loss of system functionality.
Mounting
The B-4825-7 enclosure mounts on a wall nearby or adjacent to the main SCM-4825 unit.
