DA-051-500 Drive-Alert Buried Sensor with 500' of Cable
The Mier DA-051-500 is a vehicle detection sensor probe equipped with 500 feet of direct-burial cable, designed to work with Mier Products' DA-500 Drive-Alert control panel system. This system is intended for use in monitoring vehicle movement in driveways, rural lanes, intersections, or around assets where detection of vehicles is needed.
Features
- The DA-051-500 sensor is a ferrous-metal magnetic detection probe, which means it responds to changes in magnetic fields caused by moving vehicles, not by animals, weather, or people, minimizing false alarms
- Sensor coverage is generally up to 24 feet in all directions (based on a sedan at 5 mph)
- It is paired with the DA-500 control panel, which can manage alerts, trigger chimes, activate lights, or signal surveillance systems when a vehicle is detected
- Extended length (500 feet) of cable allows the sensor to be installed far from the control panel for remote or long-driveway applications
- Additional DA-051 sensors can be added for monitoring multiple zones with separate chime tones or signals
