Description
The Talkaphone ETP-RES-KIT-2 is typically installed on the tip/ring pair feeding an ETP-500 analog phone, so the supervising equipment "sees" the correct electrical load and does not falsely indicate a trouble condition. If this kit is not connected, the monitoring unit's error detection can report that the ETP-500 is missing or disconnected, even when the line is otherwise present.
